“Give the Drummer some!” This special night is dedicated to our drum students of all ages and levels and is intended to be a “coming together” of sorts. It is a chance to get to know the other drummers here at OCMA and support and learn from each other!
Designed to be a “low-pressure” drum competition, OCMA drum students are given the opportunity to “show their chops” in a 2 minute composed drum solo. OCMA’s distinguished panel of judges evaluates players on a number of different categories and award prizes to the top drummers of the night. Drum solos are recorded with studio quality detail and presented to the student for a memory that will never fade!
